Little Flower (18 x 29)


Materials: tea towel, vintage handkerchief, vintage lace, cotton embroidery floss, silk ribbon, beads, buttons, pillow case, photo transfer.

The back is a pillowcase my sister gave me. The idea to do this came to me as I was waking up one morning.


The hem is the sleeve for the hanger. Completed July 2008. There are process notes under the "St. Therese" labeled posts.

Barb it's simply stunning. Your work is very beautiful and you seem to have 'just' the right amount.
I hope you are gloriously happy with the outcome. I have no doubt what so ever you would have WON that competition.

She's gorgeous, Barbara. I enjoyed looking at all the details, too. How did you do the large red roseds at the 4 corners? I really like the way you accented the head scarf and dress with straight stitches, very elegant!
