Another One Done

I finished quilting the other polka dot quilt I made for my nieces. I collected polka dot fabrics for a very long time, and I think I finally hit the bottom of my supply.
My loopy free-motion quilting seems to fit the style of this quilt especially.
Here's a shot of the back (with the light shining through). That yellow fabric at the center top is vintage 60s or 70s--I really love it. You can click on it for a better view. I don't like the tedium of piecing my quilt backs, but you do get to use up a lot of odds and ends that way.

The hearts quilt I just finished has the same white fabric as the backing (as the one in your picture)! Good ole JoAnn and her fabric stash.

This is a very fun quilt! Your niece should love it.

I snagged an oriental print sheet for the backing of the one you gave me--should be perfect. Now I have to get up the nerve to quilt it.

What a cute quilt, Barbara. I love the pattern; did you design it? Did you applique the flowers by hand? Your niece should be really happy with this! And you say this is the second one you've made?

That's an adorable quilt! I think you need to buy more polka dots!

Such fun, catching up on your entries now that I am home. I just adore the pieced back of that polka dot quilt and the quilting is just right on it.

The Halloween quilt is fun too...love the skeletons!

And the trip the the redwoods was a real treat. That last shot especially was gorgeous. Thanks!
